The Replacement for Resorbed Bones
An additional problem in the treatment of neurocranial bone defects is the resorption of reimplanted endogenous bone covers. The integration of these covers, or in contrast the resorption, can be very different depending on the location.
If the integration of the bone cover happens to be insufficient, the defect has to be treated again. 10-15% of CranioConstruct titanium implants are used for the treatment of these defects.
